Adrian Is Mountain Man by Abdoul
2008-04-11

Is that REALLY Adrian?! The same gorgeous, big-eyed Entourage star thatwe’ve all come to know and love? That same sleek, hip, modern guy that was brave enough to step behind the camer and become a paparazzi for a few days for his own film? What has he done to his face?! We saw Adrian Grenier as left Green Door nightclub in West Hollywood after the Prince concert that drew everyone in Hollywood out of their homes for a nigth of dancing and singing with the artist. We almost didn’t know that it was Adrian. We know that its fun for a man to be all… manly and whatever, but things like “No Shave November”, contest for who can go the longest without shaving, and the like should be left behind in college dorms. We hope that Adrian headed to a pharmacy after the concert and bought himself a razor. We can’t image the sweat that stuff on his face would collect.

Adrian Grenier: A Self-Professed Feminist! by Cid
2008-03-21

stern.jpg

Here's what Adrian had to say when they asked him what he thought of the portrayal of women on Entourage:

I'm a feminist, so if there was anything that was untrue I would be on it. But you should see some of the girls out in LA. Entourage is remarkably honest. I don't think it pulls its punches, let's say. There are a wide range of different types of women characters. It's not just the superficial bimbo, although we do have a couple of them: that's part of what the LA experience is. But then you have strong characters like Carla Gugino, who plays Amanda - she's smart, and strong, and a great actress - those are the women that stand out to me, the rest are superficial backdrop I probably wouldn't hang out with those girls as much. I hang out with the ones who are smart and interesting.

Adrian sure knows how to talk to the ladies!

Some more spoilers! by Abdoul
2008-03-18

Don't read on if don't want to know! Here are some plot spoilers for season 5, these are concerning Eric.

Apparently, the show isn't backing down from its "Vince isn't Eric's only client" direction, which, frankly, sort of worries me. Nevertheless, this season, E will have a new assistant, who is as schlumpy and as charming as his low-rent office space. He has rebounded from the Anna Faris fiasco with a new client, an up-and-coming comedian who really wants to act. Plus, look for him to discover a hot script from an unlikely source: the managers of a topless bar. Speaking of gratuitous nudity (and when aren't we, really?), I hear that Ari will receive a visit from a pair of Chippendale's-style dancers. Oh, Lloyd, you shouldn't have! You really shouldn't have!

Season 5 will start in September, damn writer strike...

The Entourage Regroups by Abdoul

Hollywood is back in businessin both fact and fiction.

The writers are back to work on HBO's Entourage, and we just ran into Doug Ellin at a Writers Guild event, where he spilled a thing or two on the forthcoming fifth season and beyond.
Keep reading for the scoop on what's ahead for Vinnie, Ari and the rest of your favorite Hollywood posse...

Episodes Made to Order: You may have noticed that while season three ran 20 episodes, season four was just 12. So, whats on tap for the boys fifth go-round? Ellin says they currently intend to produce 12 half-hour eps. But in the event that HBO decides to order more at the last minute, Ellin is up for it, saying they dont cement storylines or story arcs ahead of time. They just go with the flow: Each episode is written, we see [how it plays out] and then figure out what would naturally happen next. Consider Entourage the anti-Lost.

Strike That: Sure, the show often mimics what goes on in Hollywood, but the writers' tentative plan to satirize the strike has been scrapped. Ellin feels that most people are over the whole debacle and would prefer to deal with different material, so thats what theyre doing. Sadly, the three-month work stoppage will still make its mark on year five, postponing its scheduled June premiere until September.

Dom and Gloom: Ellin says Dom (whom Vince had to oust from the crew after he stole that shockingly important Shrek doll) will likely return. Domenick Lombardozzi, the actor who plays Dom, is one of Doug Ellins close friends, and Ellin wrote him in intending for Dom to be a permanent fixture of the entourage. Unfortunately, he didnt anticipate the audiences negative reaction to the character, which ultimately led to Lombardozzis early exit. Ellin has a personal goal to bring Dom back, but this time hell have a storyline we can empathize with. Giving him terminal cancer is one idea they're considering.

Did Vince Dump Debi Mazar? Publicist Shaunas sporadic appearances on the show are not a sign of Ari-esque troubles ahead. Mazar is considered a series regular, but she isn't in every episode simply because so much of what Shauna does is handled by Mr. Gold. Still, Ellin insists they love having her on whenever possible, and he shares that Mazar appears in three of the four [upcoming] episodes already shot.

Don't Stop Believin': Its no surprise that Vince and the boys will be romancing their fair share of females come September. What else is in store for the future? A trek out to Joshua Tree, where something a little, um, trippy goes down. Ellin says he has four more seasons of scandalous behavior in reserve, insisting that Entourage will probably run through year eight. How does he envision the show coming to its final end? I see all four guys getting shot up in a diner. Genius.

Adrian Grenier Can Write Real Good by Abdoul
2007-11-22

Adrian Grenier isn't going to let that pesky writers' strike get in his way. "I'm not a member of the [screenwriters] guild, so I can still write," the mop topped actor was overheard telling a guest at Cinema Society's screening of I'm Not There.

Funny, though. That wasn't the impression he left at a recent screening of Margot at the Wedding. On the red carpet, Mr. Vincent Chase backed the writers, saying "I don't want to talk too much about what's going to happen with the strike or the show.... I completely support the writers. They should absolutely be getting what they deserve for the work they do." And when he was asked if he'd put down the script and pick up a picket sign and join the line, his response: "Yeah, I would." The question is, would he write his own sign?

write.jpg

Between drinks at the bar at the Bowery Hotel fete in Manhattan for the Dylan film, Grenier aimlessly ambled about, freely talking to guests about the strike and his upcoming film, which "indoctrinates the relationship between celebrity and the media.... That's the documentary I've been working on. I've had Paris Hilton helping me out." Given that his first documentary, Shot in the Dark, premiered to high critical acclaim, just what kind of consulting did the driver's license-lacking celebutard do?

The guys on Howard Stern by Abdoul
2007-11-18

stern.jpg

Adrian and Kevin came into the studio to promote the new Entourage coffee table book, and Adrian told everyone how to pronounce his last name. Howard remarked that he was glad that Adrian talks to him at the gym now, because it was awkward when they wouldn't acknowledge each other. Adrian agreed, saying he was glad when Howard finally came over and formally introduced himself. Kevin then told the crew about witnessing the Kid Rock-Tommy Lee fight at the VMAs, but Adrian, who was sitting next to him, claimed he didn't remember much of it because he was busy watching Alicia Keys perform. Howard then asked Kevin about some of his own fights, so Kevin admitted to punching both Brandon Davis and Chad Muska after they'd said bad things about his then-girlfriend, Nicki Hilton.

Howard speculated that Adrian's good looks must've given him a wild sex life, but Adrian claimed he was actually a late bloomer and nothing, as most fans expect, like Vince, his character on Entourage. Howard asked Adrian about his current girlfriend, so Adrian admitted that he's been dating a model named Melissa Keller off and on, as they've had issues with infidelity. Howard then read a list of women (Kirsten Dunst, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and Melissa Joan Hart) that Adrian has supposedly slept with, but Adrian denied sleeping with any of them. Adrian said he recently made a documentary, Shot in the Dark, about searching for his real father. Howard asked if the search was difficult, so Adrian explained that his father split when he was only six years old. Artie noted that he'd seen the movie and particularly enjoyed a moment where Adrian's adoptive father becomes frustrated with Adrian's search. Howard wanted to know where he could see the film, so Adrian said he'd send him a copy.

Howard then turned his attention to Kevin, who said he's gone out a few times with Julianne Hough, the hot blonde (the race car driver's partner) from Dancing with the Stars. Kevin claimed he was actively pursuing Julianne, and though he speaks with her every day, they have not gone any further than that. Howard was blown away that Kevin was dating Julianne and told him to take a photo of her to his father's grave to show his dad how well hes doing.

A caller claimed Robin was laughing giddily in Adrian's presence, so Robin admitted that she was a big fan of Entourage. Another caller asked if Jeremy Piven was an asshole, but Kevin said Jeremy was not only a great guy, he'd earned back-to-back Emmys for his performance. Ralph then suggested that Adrian wear looser t-shirts on the show so that his hips don't look wide, and Adrian thanked him for giving him a new complex. A caller asked Kevin and Adrian how long they planned on doing the show, and Adrian replied he'd do the show as long as they asked him. Artie warned the guys not to get too close to the people they'd be negotiating with when their contract was up, but Kevin replied that while HBO doesn't give them Tony Soprano money, they are treated really well. Kevin and Adrian then said they loved working on Entourage so much, they'd do it for 10 years.

Julianne Hough Denies Romance Rumors with Kevin Connolly by Abdoul
2007-11-06

Dancing with the Stars pro Julianne Hough shot down rumors Monday night that she and Entourage star Kevin Connolly are dating.

Jason Burinescu wrote the script, and a director will be named shortly.

No, no, no Hough adamantly told PEOPLE. Were just friends.

The blonde-haired season four Dancing champ says she and Connolly met and talk on the phone a lot. But were just friends.

romance.jpg
Connolly, 33, confirmed this to Howard Stern Monday, though he couldnt help but gush about the 19-year-old beauty. Connolly was on Sterns radio show with Entourage costar Adrian Grenier to promote the new Entourage coffee table book. The two met, Connolly says, at L.A. hot spot Hyde. Since then, Connolly told Stern hes actively pursuing Hough and talks to her practically every day. He even went to see her perform at a DWTS taping.

Connolly says he considers Hough a 15″ on his scale, a score that takes into account her flawless looks and infectious personality. Connolly encouraged Sterns listeners to vote for Julianne. Upon hearing Connollys remarks, Hough told PEOPLE, Aw. Thats really sweet. Thats very flattering. But were just friends.

Book Signing by Abdoul
2007-11-06

book.jpg

November 6, 2007 -- ADRIAN Grenier and Kevin Connolly signed copies of the new book, "Entourage: A Lifestyle Is a Terrible Thing To Waste," yesterday at the HBO shop on Sixth Avenue. The duo each bought a "Suits Suck" T-shirt, one of nightmare director Billy's (Rhys Coiro's) favorite sayings on the show to Connolly's character, Eric. The book gives fans an inside look at Hollywood, including a location guide to where the characters hang out.
